2.0 out of 5 stars Nice looking, terrible functionality, September 20, 2009
This review is from: Samsung S8300 UltraTOUCH Platinum Unlocked Phone International Version No Warranty (Red) (Wireless Phone Accessory)
I once were a sizable fan of Samsung sliders. I owned the D500, D600, D900, and today this S8300. I think the styling belonging to the phone is extremely good. The functionality is terrible.
Pros: The screen looks amazing. The touchscreen display sensitivity is. Voice quality is robust. The type and model is good for my pocket.
Cons: The software program! The htc desire can be doing some tips i want to avoid it in order to do. Make the most of the button lock feature at all times trip I consider the button volume is changing. I love to have it set to zero, but Concerning the impression that Samsung would like someone to have sound effects those buttons. Whenever I pull the htc desire out of my pocket I discover that he button volume is turned up. There is no way to overpower how sliding the phone during a mobile call effects the email. The iphone automatically ends a call should the phone is slid down. I can't want this to happen, but there's absolutely no way to swap it. In order to use the loud speaker make sure you slide the iphone up. Then if you're finished with the loud speaker, if you slide the telephone backtrack its going to end the phone call, very annoying!
The worst is the texting functionality. The effective use of apostrophes with T9 will be impossible. For almost all words you need to manually insert an apostrophe, which requires 4 keys.
The side menu is nice but always gets in the way when attempting view an incoming text message. The htc desire also always goes toward function to supply a photo contact a celebrity.
Software is terrible. this phone possibly be nice looking bad to work with.
