3.0 beyond 5 stars Great compact APS C camera, but weak video, April 22, 2010
This review is from: Samsung NX10 Dslr camera prosumer 14.6 Mpix With 18 55mm Lens supported memory: SD, SDHC black (Electronics) I did a wide array of test shots recently and was quite impressed, though I noticed the sensor that they are quite noisy. For that reason, I see no edge over the emerging Micro four thirds format, that i will see having greater stamina than this camera having a mostly proprietary lenses. The included lens in such a kit, however, is extremely versatile. The real issue is if you need to go with this camera for video at the same time. In ideal conditions, the playback quality looks quite good. Using the massive sensor and group lenses should put you earlier than most consumer grade camcorders. There's only a couple of controls, though. Also , there are audio sync problems and file clipping problems that are not addressed inside the firmware update at the moment. It's been a deal breaker in my opinion when i would definitely get rid of the camcorder. Were it not for this purpose, I'd rate it 4 stars and would've kept your camera.
