This review is from: Olympus Stylus 820 8MP Photographic camera with 5x Optical Zoom (Black) (Electronics) This is just about the few ultracompact cameras which includes a 5x optical zoom. It is relatively small which has a large (2.5") beautiful LCD screen. It is also filled with useful features. I researched many ultracompact cameras and this also one released number one. The only real caveat usually it will take an xD picture card (developed for Olympus and Fuji cameras), which can be Three times more expensive than an sD picture card. Also beware... some of the top features of the camera, such as panorama function, are not going to work if you don't work with an Olympus H type xD picture card, which surely, is easily the most expensive variety of xD card. Will still be a superb camera, nonetheless it would be nice if somewhere while in the official description of your camera, Olympus had included these records! Some terrific features: 'Available Light' way of taking indoor photos useful when the flash washes your subject, however , the key scene is just too dark without having the flash.
