This is my third camcorder We've owned, and my first Olympus digital camera. To begin with the good qualities, the digital camera looks really slick, especially when you find it inside a color in addition to silver. The camera is small and lightweight and carrys with the wine a lot of functions to be able to aren't very photography inclined. The photos the fact that camera takes are superb in order to be its size and then the battery is a plus. By using a 512mb xD picture card I could take 523 pictures on High Quality (2nd from best setting) and 180 on Super High Quality (the ideal setting). I cannot see a great deal of distinction between the HQ and SHQ like me not a photo junkie, so taking 523 pictures on HQ is plenty enough personally.

The only problems Concerning with the camera, however, is that you cannot charge it inside of the camera, each time you practice battery seem to charge it (or swap it with another) the settings clear in addition to align you back up and hang up the date once again. You can at a minimum consider that an electronic camera nowadays might have battery backup within the memory. Guess not. Also, your camera is not going to carry along very much storage. Although most cameras really don't either, most others are loaded with 32mb, as you move Sylus Verve features only 16mb, thus if you're getting one of which cameras, ensure that you purchase another xD picture card.

All in all, however, I find myself which your pros outweigh the cons this particular little camera. You is ideal for people that are not totally enthusiastic about photography. If, however, you are usually really into digital photography and desire a camera, might I would recommend looking elsewhere. If you are looking for your first digital camera, or maybe something to interchange your old one, while you only want it to a family event vacations and whatnot, then this camera will last you. Just be sure to discover another xD card!
