The 28mm wide angle lens* lets you easily capture large groups of people indoors or expansive architectural structures and scenes with dynamic width and rich perspective, even from short distances.

The DMC FH1 has a 5x optical zoom (35mm camera equivalent: 28 140mm) and 9.8x Extra Optical Zoom (35mm camera equivalent: 274mm)*1. Adding the Extra Optical Zoom to the 4x digital zoom*2 extends the total zooming power to a maximum of 39.2x. *1 At a resolution of 3 megapixel or less. In the DMC FH1, image resolution is kept at its maximum size to the optical tele end even if the Extra Optical Zoom is ON.
